PROGRAM OUTCOMES

PO1: An ability to apply knowledge of computing, mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals appropriate to the discipline.

PO2: An ability to analyze a problem, and identify and formulate the computing requirements appropriate to its solution.

PO3: An ability to design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based system, process, component, or program to meet desired needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental considerations.

The faculty members are encouraged to participate in the Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Workshops, Hands on Training Programs, Seminars and Conferences (National/International) arranged by other Institutions in their own research area as a step towards strengthening their domain knowledge. Considerable amount of faculty members of IT department are involved in research activities. Faculty members are carrying research work in the areas of Data Mining, Image Processing, Networking, and Cloud Computing. The faculty members regularly publish research papers in reputed journals and conferences. The overall Publication count for the department is 195.
